knowmad mood accelerates in Latin America with the acquisition of Argentina-based CDA Informática, a company with more than $22 million in revenue and over $6 million in EBITDA
- CDA recorded more than $22 million (USD) in revenue and EBITDA of over $6 million (USD) in 2025, and has more than 70 major clients, with particular strength in banking and financial services.
- The transaction adds a delivery platform with a presence in Argentina, Mexico, Uruguay, Chile and Peru, expanding the Group’s ability to serve international clients from Latin America.
- This is the largest acquisition in knowmad mood’s history to date and represents a further step in the execution of the company’s 2025–2028 Strategic Plan, which targets €550 million in revenue and €48 million in normalized EBITDA by 2028.
knowmad mood, a multinational technology company specializing in digital transformation solutions, has announced the acquisition of 100% of CDA Informática, an Argentine technology company with more than 500 professionals, more than 70 major clients and four decades of experience in Latin America. In 2025, CDA recorded revenue of more than $22 million and EBITDA of over $6 million.
CDA will join knowmad mood while retaining its brand and management team in the region, led by Silvina Iglesias (Vice President of CDA), ensuring continuity in its relationships with clients and professionals. The company will begin consolidating its results into the Group’s accounts as of October 1.
A growth platform in Latin America
The acquisition represents a significant step up in scale for knowmad mood in Latin America. CDA operates in Argentina, Mexico, Uruguay, Chile and Peru, markets from which it provides technology services to major organizations and delivers international projects.
The transaction strengthens delivery capabilities from Latin America, combining specialized talent, proximity and a regional structure capable of providing services on both sides of the Atlantic.
CDA also brings a portfolio of more than 70 major clients and particularly relevant expertise in the Latin American financial industry, together with long-standing relationships with major corporate accounts.
The combination of the two companies opens up new growth opportunities through four levers: cross-selling knowmad mood’s capabilities to CDA’s client base; providing CDA services to the Group’s European and North American clients; developing Latin America as a delivery platform for international projects; and joint growth in banking and financial services.
“CDA is exactly the kind of company we are looking for: meaningful scale, blue-chip clients, technology talent and a particularly strong position in financial services. With this acquisition, we are taking a significant step up in scale in Latin America and, above all, increasing our ability to grow with global clients on both sides of the Atlantic. We continue to execute our plan: to grow, internationalize and do so by bringing in companies that contribute real business, talent and complementary capabilities,” says José Manuel Rufino Fernández, President and CEO of knowmad mood.
Four decades of technology expertise
Founded in 1986 and headquartered in Buenos Aires (Argentina), CDA has more than 500 professionals and provides services to major organizations across banking and financial services, insurance, telecommunications, energy, oil and gas, automotive, healthcare and retail. Its activity is focused on four areas: software and applications; cloud and infrastructure; quality engineering and testing; and artificial intelligence, automation and data.
“After 40 years since founding CDA, I am particularly pleased to begin this new chapter alongside a group with which we share values and the same understanding of technical and human quality. This integration will enable the company and our professionals to evolve towards new horizons while maintaining the trust and reliability we have always offered our clients. I retire with the peace of mind of knowing that the legacy is in the hands of an exceptional team,” says Esteban Czornogas, President and Founder of Grupo CDA Informática.
“Joining forces with knowmad mood represents a strategic milestone for CDA, our clients and our professionals. This new chapter will enable us to combine the experience, agility and close relationships that have defined our journey with the capabilities, specialised expertise and support of a global network of more than 3,000 professionals. It will also strengthen our capacity for innovation, enabling us to support our clients in their transformation and growth journeys with increasingly efficient, intelligent solutions tailored to their future needs,” says Silvina Iglesias, Vice President of Grupo CDA Informática.
Execution of the 2025–2028 Strategic Plan
The acquisition of CDA represents a further step in the execution of knowmad mood’s 2025–2028 Strategic Plan and combines two of its main growth drivers: internationalization and the addition of companies that bring scale, specialization and access to new markets and clients.
knowmad mood closed 2025 with audited consolidated revenue of €270.1 million and expects to reach €550 million in revenue and €48 million in normalized EBITDA by 2028.
A transaction focused on value creation and international expansion
CDA is knowmad mood’s ninth acquisition since 2022. Following the acquisition, knowmad mood will have more than 3,500 professionals. On a 2025 pro forma basis, international business would represent approximately 21.4% of the Group’s revenue, compared with the 25% target set in the 2025–2028 Strategic Plan. The Americas would have represented 8.6% of 2025 pro forma revenue.
With this acquisition, knowmad mood continues to execute a growth and value creation strategy that combines organic development and selective acquisitions, while maintaining strong financial capacity to continue advancing towards the objectives of its 2025–2028 Strategic Plan.
