atSistemas closes the year with its Christmas charity campaign

At atSistemas, solidarity has not only been a Christmas thing. At atFamily we like to collaborate throughout the year with foundations and projects, such as Alares or Prodis, in order to contribute to society and do our bit with small gestures and actions that add up.

Our Solidarity 2022

This year, as part of its Christmas solidarity campaign, the company wanted to launch various solidarity actions to help the most disadvantaged groups, especially children at risk of social exclusion, as explained by Jessica Iglesias, Marketing, Communication & Corporate Responsibility Director, who states that “the fight against social exclusion, especially that of young people who are the future of our society, is one of the pillars of the social commitment of atSistemas.

From the Corporate Responsibility area we have the firm intention to collaborate with associations in order to offer opportunities to people who are at risk of exclusion because they do not have the appropriate means to enable them to build a working future and have knowledge in new technologies that are so necessary today”.

Sanders Fundation

The annual donation of 50 computers to the Sanders Foundation, a non-profit organisation that helps to promote learning in children at risk of social and economic exclusion, has been one of the actions that atSistemas has carried out within its Christmas campaign, thus collaborating in one of the largest projects to end the digital divide in Spain, as the Marketing, Communication & Corporate Responsibility Director of atSistemas comments “with the aim of helping to reduce the digital divide of groups at risk of exclusion, this year, we have chosen the Sanders Foundation as the beneficiary of more than 50 laptops that will reach the hands of young people who are part of their socio-educational project focused on the acquisition of digital skills. We are confident that the delivery of the equipment, which for us has been a small gesture, will have a great impact for the children of the foundation and their future”.

The equipment was handed over to Nuria López, project and network management technician at the Sanders Foundation, who told us that “we will be able to use the entire budget of the grant to acquire only high quality technology, as the laptops that will be used in the centres with the children will be those of atSistemas”.

Thus, with this donation we will be able to offer children at risk of exclusion who are in the centres of the Community of Madrid, the technological activities that have arisen from the sum of the collaboration with atSistemas and the Next Generation grant, “they will be really innovative, because we will be able to acquire the latest generation of technological tools”, says Nuria “thanks to your initiative we are reaching more children”, she concludes.

Solidarity Kudos

As part of this same Christmas Solidarity Campaign, we created the Solidarity Kudos Competition for our employees. We asked our employees to share through their social networks the solidarity initiatives with which they collaborated not only at Christmas, but throughout the year, and to encourage other colleagues to do the same.

For this action we worked on visuals with the most supportive and fun kudos of our atFamily so that they could use them along with their publications. In this contest we decided to reward people with solidarity gifts, donating the money to the Aladina Foundation, which supports families and children with cancer every day.

From atSistemas, we continue contributing with solidarity projects and initiatives to continue impacting possitively while, between all of us, improving society.
