knowmad mood, a leading multinational technology company specializing in digital transformation solutions, has announced the acquisition of BUZZ, a Barcelona-based digital creative agency with more than 18 years of experience helping brands develop innovative advertising campaigns, media and performance strategies, social media strategies, and digital experience design.
This transaction allows knowmad mood to integrate a team with solid expertise in creativity, branding, social media, and digital content, opening up new opportunities to develop omnichannel proposals that connect technology, strategy, and emotion. In addition, BUZZ is one of the pioneering agencies in Spain in the use of Artificial Intelligence in the development of its advertising campaigns.
With this acquisition, knowmad mood strengthens its ability to offer comprehensive solutions that address not only the technological challenge, but also that of building more human, relevant, and memorable brands.
BUZZ: digital creativity that connects
Founded in 2007, BUZZ has established itself as an independent creative agency specializing in content creation, design, and digital experiences, with a strategic approach and a strong focus on results.
In 2024, BUZZ reported unaudited revenues of €4.9 million and an EBITDA margin of over 10%.
BUZZ has a portfolio of local, national, and international clients, including major consumer brands, financial institutions, and non-governmental organizations such as CaixaBank, Frit Ravich, Henkel, and Total Energies. It has carried out projects for all of them that combine innovation, impact, and authenticity.
Its multidisciplinary team of more than 60 professionals is based in Barcelona and stands out for its ability to generate community, brand narrative, and visual experiences aligned with new forms of consumption and relationships in the digital environment.
Strategic growth with a vision for the future
The incorporation of BUZZ is the second acquisition made by knowmad mood in 2025, following the integration of Vanture ESS in February, which specializes in SAP and Odoo solutions. Both operations are part of the group’s ambitious growth plan, which reinforces its ability to offer 360º solutions that combine technology, creativity and strategy.
In recent years, knowmad mood has added key companies to its ecosystem, such as the British New Verve Consulting, Incipy, INTERWOR, ASERVO Software, Grupo Antea, and Vanture ESS, consolidating a solid and diverse structure that allows it to tackle the challenges of digital transformation with a multidisciplinary approach.

knowmad mood continues to grow significantly
The transaction comes at a time of strong sustained growth for knowmad mood, which closed 2024 with a turnover of €210 million (25.0% more than in 2023) and normalized EBITDA of €15.8 million, 52.7% higher than the previous year.
Last April, the knowmad mood group published the objectives of its new Strategic Plan 2025-2028, which aims to achieve revenues of €550 million, normalized EBITDA of €48 million, and an international business representing 25% of total revenues by 2028.
The company currently operates in 10 countries and has more than 3,000 professionals, with a strong focus on innovation, international expansion, and operational excellence.
Details of the acquisition
The purchase price for 100% of BUZZ’s share capital was €2.8 million, with an additional incentive agreed if the company successfully executes an ambitious business plan in 2025, 2026, and 2027.
This transaction represents another step forward in knowmad mood’s growth strategy, which is aimed at creating value for its shareholders through advanced technological solutions and a unique approach.
